Fit Day: 13

I have a headache today.

My weight seems to go up and then drop back down depending on what time of the month it is. I hate that, but I suspect it’s not going to change. I kind of feel like I should just stop stepping on the scale and getting angsty about it.

I didn’t keep track of my calories today until after dinner. I was sure I was going to be well over 2000 (hello? 4 cookies?) but apparently I didn’t even creep over 1600.

I had a great time shopping with Aya today. She got her hair trimmed, some perfume (“the grown up kind” – it’s Endless/Sarah Jessica Parker), a couple books (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and Dewey: There’s a Cat in the Library!), and two pairs of new shoes. I got new jeans at Express – back down to a size 6!

While watching the CMT Music Awards tonight, I complained to my twin that one of the performer’s lyrics didn’t rhyme. She had a swift comeback:

stfulillith (7:26:26 PM): Well, sure it does
stfulillith (7:26:43 PM): Just twang a twannger she twaaanguh twwwan taaaahm twaaaang

stfulillith (7:27:13 PM): He’s really singing about cheezburgers.

So if you ever wondered just what it is country singers are drawling about, it’s cheezburgers*.

*and not Def Leppard, unless you’re Taylor Swift
