Twilight

I have a confession to make.

After seeing the movie Twilight, I was prepared to hate the books.

I did, at first.

It took me two tries to get started on the first book. I thought Twilight was too high school, shallow, melodramatic, sappy, etc. It didn’t fit with my idea of vampires. (Vampires don’t sparkle, FFS!)

But on the second try, I read it cover to cover in one day.

I bought New Moon Friday afternoon and literally could not put it down until I had finished it. I was continued reading while walking around the house, doing laundry, making dinner. It totally captivated me.

I bought Eclipse Saturday morning and had the same problem. (At least I was setting a good example for Aya by reading, right?)

I’m going to pick up Breaking Dawn tomorrow.
