These two -John Milton, Paradise Lost I spoke with my half-sister last night for the first time in years. She was sober. Her phone cut out and she didn’t call back. It’s good to face changes, right? Maybe not. Let me try that again: it’s good to learn something new. Our office is the third to make the switch, firmwide, from WordPerfect to Word. This officially started a week ago. It’s going as well as can be expected. Some people seem to be having some difficulty [...] Still sick. Same fever + headache I’ve had since Saturday, but last night I broke out in hives across my face, torso, back and arms. Now I look like I’m sunburned. All raw and prickly-itchy. I think my skin is going to start peeling. I saw my doctor today, who after examining me determined [...] Today was not a particularly romantic Valentine’s Day. Brian and I were both ill. It wasn’t that much of a surprise, as various viral infections are raging through work and school. We had plans to cook for each other, which obviously didn’t happen at all. Very disappointing.
