These trees house dozens of yammering finches, which exist surrounded by concrete and asphalt in the parking lot where I work. Thanks to the change of season and cooling temperatures (er? it was almost 80 degrees yesterday) the trees are changing their coats and have dropped huge amounts of crisp, crunchy leaves this week, thwarting the orderly efforts of the landscape maintenance crew.
Well. That might be me doing the thwarting.
When I’m not pointing my cell phone camera at the trees, I’m jumping in the leaf piles.

Haha, I love jumping in massive piles of leaves – only problem is if you get a pile that look ok, but then are all soggy underneath…not nice!
We don’t really get autumn here in the UK…we go from summer to winter in about a day, so we don’t get many lovely golden trees, rather ones with bare bones (or artificial ones).
