Story Updates
Sign from the West is the first bit of writing I’ve done from Alazais’ perspective in Rhilshen. Her deceptions are unraveling, and she’s going to have to face the music. Eventually the new Blood Empress will be revealed as the true “Sign from the West” prophesied by mad Karthalan – but several stand in opposition to her.
Demonspawn was a revision of an old series of posts on the Rhilshen Fortress message board on AOL. The conclusion needs a lot of polishing, so it hasn’t been added to this incarnation of the story yet.
Even older than Demonspawn is Never Forget, which was written up from three or four chat logs ranging from June through August of 1997. It’s a confrontation between Alysia and her first husband, Daemyon with all sorts of veiled references. There will probably be a few more of these “ancient history” type stories in upcoming months.
