Lately, I’ve been feeling nostalgic and a little homesick. It seems to happen a lot this time of year, when the air is sweet with the smell of dry grass and oak and a hint of woodsmoke. Eventually the new Blood Empress will be revealed as the true “Sign from the West” prophesied by mad Karthalan – but several stand [...] The Rhydin Wiki project has been growing for about a year now. First, I appreciate Panther’s work at Realm of Rhydin and must acknowledge it as my inspiration for RhydinWiki. Realm of Rhydin still contains several valuable articles, although due to its policy of open, anonymous editing, it’s regularly defaced with spam and porn links. [...] Last week, I learned that my doctor only gives flu shots two hours a day, two days a week, on a first come, first served basis until his supplies are gone. A local grocery store, however, gives flu shots every day of the week during their pharmacy’s open hours, for $10 more than the [...] I spent about 15 minutes laughing at certain Star Wars parodies on YouTube tonight. It all started with a link off of http://www.icanhasforce.com, and then I started clicking on related videos. I ended up falling off the bed and was literally rolling on the floor laughing, which triggered an asthma attack, so I was laughing [...] Thoughts about the preceding week. I learned last week that soccer fans don’t know a damn thing about hockey trophies and that hockey fans take symbols very seriously.
