Rhilshen Updates – July, 2008

LOREBOOK UPDATES

The Rhilshen Lorebook has been updated with names for a few more cities. Towns were added in the Central Province, Sethil, and Shayltan.

STORY UPDATES

In Mislead and Mistaken, Chryrie Nightstar has noticed that something is not quite right with the woman who claims to be Alysia in Rhilshen and attributes this to Veighn’s influence or residuals of her unpleasant experiences in Wraithspire. The moredhel fae, inwardly shouldering the blame for the situation and determined to find a way to help Alysia, returns to Rhy’din. While at Dark Lake Manor’s library, Chryrie senses Alysia’s presence nearby. . . which she is sure is impossible.

The latest update for On the March continues the campaign against traitors in Shayltan, introducing Lieutenant-General Gamilin. Lord Ayreg has arrived to ensure that the Empire sees progress in Shayltan. After questioning the Legion’s elvish prisoners, Ayreg orders them all executed, over Gamilin’s protest.

A state of unrest continues to progress. Alysia has learned that not only has her shadow gate connecting Dark Lake Manor to Rhilshen been collapsed, but a guardian resembling Varltesh has been set to prevent her from reopening that particular gate. If Alysia wants to return to Rhilshen and confront Alazais, she will have to find another way.

Alysia’s Journal has been updated with her musings about The Doctor as well as her angst-ridden brooding about the price paid for her release from Wraithspire.

PENDING UPDATES

Lorebook: We’re upgrading to the latest version of MediaWiki and the old Lorebook at rhilshen.com/wiki will be going away. I may be changing the organization/categories. I also hope to include several new graphics and heavily update a few entries.

Stories: In addition to the current ongoing tales at the forums, some Alazais stories are in the works. Whether they’ll be ready for posting in August remains to be seen. I have some vague ideas for upcoming Central Province Reporter headlines to help incorporate Alazais into Rhilshen as the new Emperialle.
