It really isn’t original, not at all. After this long, nothing is original.

By the way — I’m not at all impressed with anonymity; sarcasm and whinge don’t have much impact when you have to cower in the shadows to mutter your vitriol.

I pass by here sometimes in my exploits, and I came across this which bothered me.

“Dolus, I’m glad you’ve acknowledged that I’m amazing, and I’m absolutely thrilled to have been able to remind you why you jumped ship. I had no idea you’d flounced off into the sunset. Even though you (or your character?) has left Rhydin, I wanted to say that I think your work at Dragon’s Mark was also amazing. Playing a mutant in Star Fleet. . . wow, what a combination! How absolutely fangirl!”

And playing a Demonic Elf is so much more original. I applaud you.

So the end result is someone left Rhydin because he/she/it didn’t like his/her/its pal losing a roleplay election; didn’t like how said friend looked for posting his opinions about roleplay, roleplay elections, and how people who didn’t play like him were “bad players” (cos calling roleplayers “bad players” ALWAYS wins friends and popularity in a roleplay community, doncha know); or because he/she/it didn’t like how free form roleplay works?

If that necrobump was a ploy for sympathy, I don’t think it worked too well, though he/she/it did earn a bit of pity. I thought -I- was bitter about the way things are handled OOC/administratively at DM, but I’ve clearly found someone even more bitter than me… simply about the roleplay itself, apparently.
