Alaric, the world’s calmest cat, used to do this to Jade, the world’s bitchiest cat, as a sort of passive-aggressive retaliation when Jade tried to ’steal his spot’ on Lil’s bed. It’s a little more alarming when a 35 pound cat does the amoeba thing to a 7 pound cat.
Getting calmly sat upon by an enormous ball of fluff only made Jade bitchier, too.
Alaric now tries to absorb me as his prey, and in fact, almost succeeded this weekend. You wouldn’t think a 35 pound cat would be such an effective restraint.
