Little things - not so little

Aya’s actually not so much a little thing anymore. Long and lean… Closing in on six years old, she’s off the growth chart for height and around the 50th percentile for weight. Her hands are almost as big as mine; palm to palm, there are scant centimeters between the ends of her fingertips and mine. And she can clomp around in my shoes without much difficulty.
I do have small hands and feet. Still, it’s a given that she’ll be taller than me.
